The City of Elk Grove is seeking individuals who enjoy helping others and want to make a difference in our community by serving in the role of Administrative Analyst I in the Housing and Public Services Division of the Development Services Department. This is a newly created position that will work closely with the Housing and Public Services Manager on issues related primarily to affordable housing and homelessness. The position will assist with the development of new affordable housing, oversight of the City's more than 2,000 affordable housing units, and creation and implementation of programs intended to help people experiencing homelessness. The ideal candidate has some experience in affordable housing development or homelessness programs and is detail-oriented, able to engage effectively with the public around sensitive issues and is passionate about helping lower-income populations.
