Position Announcement: Family Court Commissioner

Clallam County, headquartered in Port Angeles, Washington, is currently accepting applications to fill the full-time position of Family Court Commissioner.  The ideal candidate will demonstrate the highest standards of personal and professional conduct possessing a thorough knowledge of the judicial system, court rules, rules of evidence, and local court procedures and practices. At time of hire, must possess and maintain a valid Washington State driver’s license, U.S. citizen and member in good standing with the Washington State Bar Association AND have passed a complete background investigation, driving record check, employment history verification, and reference confirmation.

Salary and Benefits

The Family Court Commissioner has an annual salary paid at 90% of the Superior Court Judges annual salary. Clallam County provides a generous benefits package, which includes medical and dental insurance, paid holidays, vacation, sick leave, and retirement.

  • A certificate from the Washington State Bar Association showing the resolution of any bar complaints made against you in the last three years
