JOB SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Assistant Finance Director, the Sr. Financial Analyst provides will be research and financial analysis, oversight for special projects, and financial policy recommendations to management. Provides general assistance as required in operation of business area of the Town government. EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in public administration, finance, business or a related field. Minimum of three years of responsible experience in public administration, auditing, banking, accounting, or finance is preferred. A combination of related job experience and education may substitute for a bachelor’s degree. Strong interpersonal skills required, with ability to form and maintain effective working relationships with peers. Must have: good analytical and problem solving skills; good knowledge of municipal operations and organizational structures. Skill required in use of computer and finance-related software.

1. Ability to read, write, and speak fluently.
2. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or authorities, or members of the local business community.
